About WoW x MakersPlace Community Art Contest
MakersPlace was thrilled to sponsor the World of Women Artfest Spring 2023, a seasonal celebration that unites exceptional web3 artists, empowers diverse talent and showcases their creativity.
The #ArtfestSpring2023 Art Contest launched by MakersPlace and World of Women in May, invited artists to draw inspiration from the following creative prompts: the WoW/G Universe, Moon Phases, Flower Moon or The Season of Spring.
The MakersPlace Curatorial Team which included Jessica Marinaro, Georgia Andre, Aisha Arif, Caitlin Cruickshank and Parin Heidari, reviewed the submissions to select the Top 10. The Top 10 received complimentary minting credit and onboarding support.
The Artfest Spring 2023 Art Contest prizes included:
- 1st Place: 2000 USDC
- 2nd Place: 1000 USDC
- Two artists will become next season's WoW Artfest featured artists
- The Top 10 artists will be featured in an Exhibition on MakersPlace
